My group had a booking for 10 people and waited an hour and a half for our meals. We were warned there would be a wait, and we ordered a few entrees as suggested. After that we were abandoned until one of us asked where our meals were. Two tables of 6 that were seated after us were served their meals ahead of ours. The restaurant was only half full. I recognise places are struggling with staffing but train the staff you do have. Their ordering process was bizarre and they wasted the opportunity to keep us ordering drinks and entrees while we waited. On top of everything one meal was completely forgotten! The food was good but service awful. To their credit they gave us a round of drinks and then took our entrees off the order. It really ruined our celebration.

We had a fantastic time staying at Lake Hume resort. Shanna and Steve were so helpful and friendly. They are absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend staying there. We will return soon.

Stayed a night in a motel room. Staff were very friendly and lovely. Room was nice, clean and had everything we needed. King bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows were ok. |The only issue we had was with the air conditioning being very loud so we couldn’t use it but luckily it wasn’t too cold.

I recently stayed at Lake Hume Resort. |The staff were very friendly and helpful as I was making my booking , with lots of information and instructions |. The room was nice and warm , clean and comfortable . |And the views outside overlooking the lake were great ! |I’ll be staying here again .

The motel room was spacious and clean and the bed linen and towels fresh but it was let down by maintenance issues - neither the shower screen nor the wardrobe doors were able to be closed, the bed sagged so much we slept on the edges …

The resort has a pool and a beautiful cafe/restaurant overlooking the lake. It’s a peaceful area that is best suited for families with kids. In my opinion, the budget rooms are a bit overpriced for what they offer. We paid $145 per night for a small, mouldy motel-like room…

What a fabulous venue for lunch, dinner or just a coffee. Wonderful view overlooking Lake Hume. Beautifully presented restaurant, excellent service with a smile. I'll definitely be back again and again.
